In-person Yoga

Attend in-person classes on Wednesday at 6:30pm, at the Birmingham Buddhist Centre.

A single class costs £10, and 6 classes cost £50.

Virtual Yoga Classes

Follow online classes through Zoom.

A single class costs £8, and unlimited classes cost £40.

The Classes We Offer Online

Heart and Hip Opening Yoga

Open your heart through gentle heart/chest opening poses. We start each class with a breathing practice then we carry on to slowly open up our heart area. We are taking deep breaths to enable us to open up safely. We will then carry on opening the hips. Suitable to everyone, beginners and more advanced practitioners too.

Stretch and Flow

A blend of slow flow and deep stretch. This class is a perfect combination of movement and stillness. ALL LEVELS

Yin Flow and Meditation

A modern-day movement with lineage inspired teachings. This class starts with a slow flowing movement to get the body warm and the mind focused. Yin poses, passive stretches held for minutes at a time, prepare the body for stillness by releasing deep-rooted tension. Meditation or Yoga Nidra the practices of stillness that connect us to the true essence of Yoga, finish this complete practice. ALL LEVELS

Group yoga class

Hatha Yoga

In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. – ALL LEVELS

Wake Up Yoga

Move with your breath and bring your attention back to your body in our flow classes. These dynamic flow classes will get you out of your head and into a moving meditation; modifications are always available. In our sunrise and morning flows, we awaken the body with breath-work, introspection, and a longer warm-up to prepare our bodies for an active flow. ALL LEVELS

A blend of breathing practices and meditation to find stillness in our busy days. Relax into simply being in the here and now with the beautiful, expansive practice of meditation. Our meditation classes are accessible to both the new and experienced meditation practitioners. Let’s learn and grow together! 30 mins.
