Indian Wellness Academy is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete an approved training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).

 

 

Our teacher training course will give you the most authentic and complete yogic training. It is led by Sri Vijay Anand, an Indian yogi, international speaker and visionary teacher for over 30 years. Anand's extensive experience and captivating manner will help you become the best teacher you can be.

 

You will develop a strong yogic practice, discovering many different techniques and using the ones that are most powerful for you. Your competence in the physical poses or “Asana” will rapidly advance, as will your understanding of how to teach others.

 

Throughout the course all techniques, methods and philosophy will be taught from the fundamental yogic view point and also the tantra view point. This is a very unique approach that sets this teacher training apart from other courses. This will give you the most complete understanding and the chance to learn ancient techniques you will not find in text books as they are only passed directly to a student from an initiated guru.

 

You will experience first hand the transforming effect of yoga. Aside form the benefits this will bring to you own health and well-being, this will make you a more confident and knowledgeable teacher for your future students.

 

It is a demanding course that should not be undertaken lightly. It will take place over 1 weekend per month for ten months and in between each session you will be required to practice and study regularly. Anand and the rest of Indian Wellness Academy team will be on hand to support you at all times, during and after the course. You will also receive advice and marketing support for promoting your own yoga classes.

 

It is a year-long course, which will enable you to teach yoga after but more importantly you can learn about yoga and immerse yourself in the knowledge.

 

The next Kundalini Tantra Yoga Teacher Course takes place in Ross-on-Wye, England. After successfully completing the course, the participants will be able to confidently lead a yoga class and share their knowledge for the benefit of others. It will enable you to teach though you may just want to come for self-development.

This is a 1-year course which requires you to commit to one full weekend participation a month. Saturday and Sunday (16 hours / weekend)

100 hours asana, pranayama and meditation practice + 100 hours theoretical learning.

160 hours of teaching plus 40 hours of practical tuition.

 

The remaining 40 hours will be set in a residential workshop in England, place to be announced soon. It will be open to other people as a yoga workshop and for the teachers-to-be, it would be the time to practise taking a class under supervision. Food and stay not included.

The course is led by Sri VijayAnand who is a Yogi, international speaker and visionary. He has worked tirelessly towards the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of humanity through powerful yoga programs and volunteers to run public service projects. He embraces the perspective of a holistic energy educator for the last 30 years in more than 50 countries around the world. His unique sessions and couple harmony training have transformed the lives of many men and women. He conducts regular workshops and retreats for men, women and couples on breathing rituals, Sacred Sexuality, Intimacy and Relationship issues.

Anand also conducts regular Yoga and Meditation retreats around the world and special teacher training courses in Hatha Yoga (200 hours) and Kundalini Tantra Yoga (200 hours).

* Kundalini Tantra Yoga *

 

Kundalini Tantra Yoga is a scientific path for transformation of ones own individual energy. In the human body a vast amount of energy is produced by our cells, which flows in different directions. If this energy flows in a rhythmic way or in the proper channels then we can feel happy and healthy, with clarity of mind to enjoy all walks of our life. If this energy flows in a non-rhythmic or has a diffused flow, then various physical, mental, emotional sicknesses start to arise. Tantra teaches how to balance this energy individually and between partners according to their requirement and live a happy and blissful life.

 

Tantra Kundalini Yoga is a holistic system, based on traditional vedic sciences. We are going to make you know vedic wisdom alongside with Tattva (Element) Science, Bio-Alchemy, MahaVidya, Kundalini Sanjeevani Kriya, and Tantra principles of energy harmonization.
