An Ancient Solution To A Modern Problem

Modern life can feel like a barrage of problems that can leave you overwhelmed managing day to day, let alone tackle your long-term goals. With news and social media flooding us with increasingly negative information and trying to force an unrealistic image of what you 'should' be - that you cannot help but compare yourself too.

This can make it very hard for you to figure out what it is you want to do with your life as you are pushed to certain expectations but who is there to turn to as families are becoming more disconnected and older generations are not able to understand. Friends can be better but many turn to escapism and you can not help but look for a better way.

Though mental health problems are the defining crisis of our modern life, our sedentary lifestyles and poor diets are wreaking havoc on our bodies which is felt increasingly as you get older. At this time, you also come spiritual questions which are being restricted by the mental and physical restrictions society has placed.

Having dealt this for so long, you have decided you want to change but you don't how. Maybe you feel that there should be a modern solution to this problem, but most only focus on one aspect of life. Though developed thousands of years ago, yoga is adept at tackling your physical, mental and spiritual development and enable you to unlock your potential.

However, in the West, yoga has been watered down and turned into a glorified exercise class which people competing to see who can do the most daring posture. The true spiritual components have been removed in favour of a contradictory egotistical worldview which can make you feel like the only way to get the real thing is to hop on a plane to India.

Fortunately, this is not necessary as our system of yoga is nothing like that as whether you are young or old, flexible or rigid, a compete beginner or seasoned yogis; you'll find something in this course as we give you a platform for further growth. Even if you don't want to teach and only here for yourself, we will help you restore balance to your life.

What Style Of Yoga Do We Teach?

Yoga is a concept that is widely misunderstood in the West as many only associate it with the postures but it is actually a complete system of personal development free from religious dogma. Thousands of years ago, this word would be enough but to break through the confusion we have dubbed this as Kundalini Tantra Yoga, explain below in reverse.

Yoga - Traditionally yoga's focus was on the mental and spiritual realms but people lived more active and lived in accordance with nature, so the physical body was not the roadblock to progress it is today. Your physical practice will focus on Hatha Yoga, which almost all modern styles have come from. It was created to purify and bring balance to the body (In Sanskrit, Ha/tha literally means Sun/Moon symbolising the two sides of us constantly at play) and prepare you for the later stages of meditation and growth.

Tantra - Though the West has associated this word with sexuality, its true meaning is simply method. The typical yogi is pictured in an ashram having renounced life, whereas a tantra practitioner takes pleasure in all life has to offer. This view scares those who have paid the price of indulgence in the past but a tantric do so with a deep understanding of the energy structures at play so they can maximise the benefits and remain detached from the negatives. Here we give you knowledge and practices to create your reality so that you can face your particular problem with the appropriate ideal state.

Kundalini - Kundalini is the unmanifested energy within us all and symbolises the world unknown to most people. We will give you an understanding and teach you practices of how to safety access this world but this is the point at which we leave it as it is a journey only you can take as you go inside to build awareness of what it means to be.

This course is run under the leadership of senior Yoga Teacher Ildiko Bakos (Ildy) helped by a team of experts who are not only excellent teachers in their own right but complement each other to give you a deep and varied practice.
